At the Civil War park called Battery Dantzler, the view of the James River in a big bend where boats used to go before the river was cut out at Dutch Gap was breathtaking. The wetlands by Henricus Historical Park were very beautiful. Geese, Mallards, birds, turtles, a beaver hut and other wildlife were seen. The floating walkway was fantastic! Thanks to Alan Kelly for helping with Jake Dog while I took some pictures of these sites! Holt
